What Ryanair asks for
Since September 2026 we have recorded 8 Ryanair pilot vacancies. 6 of them stated a minimum total flight time: a median of 3,000 hours, ranging from 700 to 3,500. The other 2 gave no figure at all — which is why a job below carries an hours badge only when the ad states one.
On the type rating, 7 of those ads were explicit: 1 asked for one already held, and 6 either did not require it, listed it as desirable only, or funded it. That second group is the one worth reading first if you do not hold the type — see jobs with no type rating required.
