What WingJobs is
A live database of pilot vacancies, read from operators' own careers pages so you do not have to. No agency, no reposting, and no account needed to browse.
What it does
WingJobs reads the careers pages of 210 operators every 3 hours and puts everything it finds in one filterable list. It is a scanner, not an agency: it never receives your application, needs no account to browse, and every link goes straight to the operator's own advert. Nothing is reposted here — the ads belong to the operators.
Every scan is kept, so WingJobs is also a live, structured database of pilot vacancies and hiring data: the hours, licence and type rating each ad asked for, with the sentence that says so; when each operator opened vacancies and how long they stayed online; and, every month, a hiring report whose figures are free to reuse.
How it works
Every careers portal is read automatically — BambooHR, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Salesforce, and a headless browser for JavaScript-rendered sites. No manual work is involved, and no job is retyped by hand.
Each scan is compared with the previous one by content signature. A vacancy that was not there last time is flagged as new straight away, and one that disappears is expired — unless the whole source went quiet at once, which is treated as a fault rather than as an empty job board.
Required hours and type-rating wording are read from the ad itself, and every badge carries the sentence that justifies it. Where the ad is ambiguous, nothing is shown — a wrong figure is worse than no figure.
What it deliberately leaves out
An operator that recruits continuously — a talent pool, a speculative application form, a cadet academy — has no dated vacancy to follow, and would sit at the top of the list for ever. Those are kept apart, in the directory of 21 operators hiring without advertising, where each one is labelled by who pays for the training.

An operator gets its own page once we have recorded one advertisement for it — that page keeps what it asked for even when nothing is open. The rest are listed here and will get one when they next post.

WingJobs runs on one server, scrapers that break whenever an airline redesigns its website, and evenings spent fixing them. It stays free for every pilot, with no ads in the way. If it helped you find your next seat, a coffee keeps it flying.
Questions
Yes. No paywall, no fee, and no account needed to browse — an account only serves email alerts. WingJobs does not charge operators to be listed either, which is why no operator can buy a better position on it.
No. Every job links straight to the operator's own careers page, and you apply there. WingJobs is not an agency and never sees your application.
Every 3 hours. Each scan compares what a careers portal shows against the previous pass, so a new vacancy appears within hours of being posted and a filled one is marked closed.
Because the ad does not state one. The figure is read from the operator's own wording, and where that wording is absent or ambiguous nothing is shown — a wrong figure would send you to apply for a job you cannot hold, or stop you applying for one you can.
210 airlines, regional, ACMI and business aviation operators, mostly European, plus the Gulf carriers, US, Canadian and Australian operators, and operators in Africa and the Caribbean that hire at low flight times. A further 21 recruit continuously without posting dated vacancies and are listed separately as talent pools.
Rarely. A US vacancy asks for an FAA certificate and the right to work in the United States, a Canadian one a Transport Canada licence and the right to work in Canada, an Australian one a CASA licence and the right to work in Australia, and the operator does not usually sponsor either. WingJobs keeps the markets apart: the Market filter shows one at a time, and once your profile says who issued your licence, a job whose licence you do not hold is marked out of reach.
