Pilot jobs at airlines and business aviation operators

WingJobs reads the careers portals of 207 airlines, regional, ACMI and business aviation operators every 3 hours and collects every pilot vacancy it finds — across Europe in depth, the Gulf carriers, the United States, plus operators in Africa and the Caribbean that hire at low flight times. 811 positions are open right now, 3 of them added in the last 48 hours.

Each ad is read for the total flight hours, pilot-in-command hours, licence level and type rating it requires, and every figure carries the sentence from the ad that justifies it. Where the ad is ambiguous, nothing is shown — a wrong figure is worse than no figure. Free, no account, no agency: you apply on the operator's own site.

Questions

Is WingJobs free?
Yes. No paywall, no fee, and no account needed to browse — an account only serves email alerts. WingJobs does not charge operators to be listed either, which is why no operator can buy a better position on it.
Does WingJobs accept applications?
No. Every job links straight to the operator's own careers page, and you apply there. WingJobs is not an agency and never sees your application.
How often is it updated?
Every 3 hours. Each scan compares what a careers portal shows against the previous pass, so a new vacancy appears within hours of being posted and a filled one is marked closed.
Why do some jobs show no minimum hours?
Because the ad does not state one. The figure is read from the operator's own wording, and where that wording is absent or ambiguous nothing is shown — a wrong figure would send you to apply for a job you cannot hold, or stop you applying for one you can.
Which operators are covered?
207 airlines, regional, ACMI and business aviation operators, mostly European, plus the Gulf carriers, US, Canadian and Australian operators, and operators in Africa and the Caribbean that hire at low flight times. A further 19 recruit continuously without posting dated vacancies and are listed separately as talent pools.
Can I apply for a US, Canadian or Australian job with a European licence?
Rarely. A US vacancy asks for an FAA certificate and the right to work in the United States, a Canadian one a Transport Canada licence and the right to work in Canada, an Australian one a CASA licence and the right to work in Australia, and the operator does not usually sponsor either. WingJobs keeps the markets apart: the Market filter shows one at a time, and once your profile says who issued your licence, a job whose licence you do not hold is marked out of reach.
